Moving and Handling – Half Day Course
The session is designed to show why back care must be taken seriously, and how to work in a safe way to reduce the risk of injury. This course will give candidates the knowledge of the main pieces of legislation that apply to moving and handling and explain their main principles. It will also ensure candidates can demonstrate approved handling techniques for the moving and handling of people, and enable them to gain an understanding of how to conduct specific moving and handling risk assessments for individuals.
Paediatric Moving and Handling – Half Day Course
This course provides the same basic knowledge as our Moving and Handling course but gives a specialist insight into the moving and handling of children ranging from 0 – 18 years.
Manual Handling – Half Day Course

- Risk Assessments
- Control Measures
There is a short multiple choice paper at the end of the course to prove competence and understanding.
