This course is designed for staff who have responsibility for dealing with Hazardous Substances used within the workplace.
COSHH Awareness (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
It will give candidates knowledge in the following areas:
- Understanding COSHH Regulations and what they mean in practice
- Awareness of associated risks when dealing with hazardous substances
- Responsibilities imposed on employer/employees
- Risk assessment process and action plans
- Monitoring and control methods required
- Selection of the correct PPE to avoid skin exposure
